I) In Germany, the famous city of Dresden has an interesting but unfortunate history. II) The Prussians, during the 18th century, attacked the city with cannons, destroying many valuable buildings and treasures. III) Again, in World War II. the city suffered terrible losses after a devastating fire bomb attack by Allied Forces. IV) Still, the destruction was not as great as that caused in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. V) Today, the city has been totally rebuilt, so hardly any of Its former architecture remains.
