The old mountain climber was sitting in a warm hotel room and looking out of the window at the hills and the slopes of the mountain he knew so well. He sighed and wished he were young again. Ever since he was a boy, he had climbed these slopes, sometimes alone, sometimes guiding group of mountaineers from different places. In winter he would collect the tourists and took them to a shelter he built on a hill, he would stay up all night to watch for the wolves and the following morning brought them down to the valley, to the farm he used to live. But those days were past, and a young man is now leading a life almost in the same way he did before
