Some believe that people take drugs because they have a weak personality and because they feel inadequate in some way; really drug takers are trying to get away from their problems. Others think that a "pusher" tricks takers into trying drugs so that he can make them addicted and sell them the substances at high profit. Or, maybe the users like the effects or want to rebel against society, but do people really need to have a reason? Does everybody who takes alcohol or a cigarette have a reason? They might take a legal or illegal drug simply because it is offered to them.
