Unless you loathe the place you're leaving, packing
to go is nothing but an entirely unpleasant
experience. There is never, on any occasion,
enough time. The whole operation is at first wisely
and efficiently planned, with careful attention to
detail. Several days in advance the first steps are
taken. Old letters are read again and many arc laid
aside for destruction. Letters with the new address
are written to friends. You find yourself struggling
with something till the last minute, but still feel as if
you should be doing more. But how really enjoyable
is the unpacking to stay that follows! For there is
now limitless time in which to make a new and
delightful home.
